Hey Wayne, so the Blue Ox Base Plate kit part # BLU46CR is a confirmed fit for your 2024 Jeep Wagoneer and while the bracket width is on the wider side it has been tested and works fine with Blue Ox tow bars. We do have the Blue Ox Avail Tow Bar part # BX7420 which does have a lot longer arms which might help you feel better about the bracket width. The arms of this are 42-1/4 inches long.

The trailer running lights shouldn't be receiving power unless the running lights in the Ram are on. I'd doublecheck the wiring for the vehicle's running lights to see if power is somehow getting sent to the trailer running lights. You could have a short or knick in the wiring somewhere and it's touching the wire to provides power to the trailer running light fuse, causing the constant power to the trailer running lights. view full answer...
Do you have a charge line installed on the new battery you put in your Navigator? If not, that will definitely explain why the battery died so quickly. You can use the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to run a charge line from the 6-pin to the battery. This way the vehicles battery will be charged by the motorhome. The K-Source Custom Flip Out Towing Mirrors # KS60195-96C are a confirmed fit for a 2020 Ram 1500 Classic so that leads me to believe that either the mirrors had a defect from the manufacturer or that there's and issue with the connection between the factory wiring and mirrors. Hey Bill thanks for your question. Like you said there are several things that can cause an intermittent trailer disconnected message. The most common cause is a rusty or corroded trailer connector. Go ahead and inspect the trailers 7-way plug. If there is noticeable rust or corrosion it will need to be replaced with something like the 7-Way Round RV Style Trailer Connector # A7WCB. I suggest using a bit of Dielectric Grease # 11755 on the trailer plug and the vehicles 7-way.

The Single Diode # RM-690 is going to be a better option than the Diode # RM-790 as it only has the single input rather than a dual input. Ideally your 5th wheel should have come with a In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # RED96FR which would prevent the power from backflowing either from the solar panels or when connected at a campground.

Since you've already checked the fuses and found everything was fine that leads me to believe that the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Wiring Harness # HM11141825 has an internal short. I recommend unplugging it from the factory connector and then turn on your running lights. You can then test the factory connector using a circuit tester # PTW2992 to see if the signal is coming through. If it is then we know the # HM11141825 just needs to be replaced.

Hey Mark, so what is most likely going on is that there is a short between the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 7-way and the turn signal circuits that are hot all the time. Sorry to hear about that Michael. There are a couple of basic troubleshooting steps you can do but really the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C56357 is plug and play.
The first thing I'd check is the ground wire and make sure it's connected to a solid bare metal surface that does not have any dirt or rust. Also make sure the wire isn't damaged or loose.

Typically if there is a signal issue with a camera system, like your Voyager # ASA84YR, it's a power issue. Most wireless camera systems are wired into the running light circuit or reverse light circuit. If it's wired to the running light circuit then you'll need to turn your running lights on in the tow vehicle. If it's wired to the reverse light circuit the camera will only come on when backing up.

The trouble you're experiencing with the Curt T-Connector # C55580 on your 2010 Toyota Sienna could either be on your trailer directly, or it could be that the converter box has gone out. The best way to figure out which part is the problem is to hook your trailer up to a different vehicle or use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to test the output side of the black box on the Curt wiring.

If just the running lights aren't working then you'll want to start by testing the 4-pole connector on the motorhome to see if the signal is sending out to Gladiator. If not then you could have a short in the wiring somewhere, a blown fuse, or your running lights just aren't turned on in the motorhome.

It sounds like your 2003 Featherlite gooseneck trailer was rewired if the wiring is not matching up correctly for the 7-Way # A10-7W6. This tends to happen a lot on some of the older trailers as they are usually just done by someone who really doesn't know what they are doing. Ford F-150's are an odd bunch when it comes to connecting to trailer wiring for some reason. While we haven't seen this exact issue it does not surprise me. It typically has to do with the 12 volt accessory circuit of the trailer wiring though so that would be where I would be inclined to start.
